PlayStation Portable users will soon be able to make free Skype Internet phone calls under a deal struck between the two companies, a news report said Saturday.
Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. and Skype Technologies SA will launch the service this month on the PSP’s latest model released in September, according to a report in the business daily, Nikkei.

Tech giant Sanyo and a small company by the name of NS-ELEX have teamed up to produce what could well be the world’s first consumer in-ear microphone, the e-Mimi-Kun.
The gadget has a standard earphone speaker, with the real ground breaking development being the microphone which picks up the users’s voice through the Eustachian tube that connects your ear to your mouth.

A report from Goldman Sachs Wednesday has confirmed that Apple is gearing up to deliver two new iPhones next year. The first is likely to be a simple storage upgrade with more flash memory. While the second half of the year will see the release of the second-generation iPhone, which is currently in the “final design phase,” according to Bailey.

Cellphones will soon have the capability to record HD video, a Nokia executive said on Wednesday.
“It’s coming. Technically, we are a couple of years away,” Nokia’s Chief Technology Officer Tero Ojanpera told Reuters in an interview. “It’s still a few years away.”

Nintendo has recorded it’s biggest one week US sales figures in it’s history. From November 18th-24th the DS sold more than 653,000 units, while 350,000 Wii units were sold, a combined total of over 1million.
