Super thin OLED TV hits the market

Sony has begun selling the first mass-produced flat-panel OLED TV in Japan, the XEL-1. Retailing at 200,000 yen (almost $1,800), the super thin display about one-eighth of an inch thick.

The Trash Can Computer

Only yesterday we reported on the Pizza Box Computer. Now comes the Trash Can computer. It’s shaped like a large trash can and is the work of Czech case modder “ZdenekSveda”. All the components are located inside the bin with the connections at the back and a disc drive at the side.

New phone gadget allows you to “talk” through your ear

Tech giant Sanyo and a small company by the name of NS-ELEX have teamed up to produce what could well be the world’s first consumer in-ear microphone, the e-Mimi-Kun.

The gadget has a standard earphone speaker, with the real ground breaking development being the microphone which picks up the users’s voice through the Eustachian tube that connects your ear to your mouth.
